The type of referral will depend on whether you see a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist or family therapist.

As Health professionals we are bound by a code of Ethics that includes confidentiality.
Karinya Centre is not a crisis centre.
We cannot offer emergency mental health care.
In an emergency please ring 000 for an ambulance or go to the emergency department of your local hospital.
If the situation is violent or threatening, ring 000 for the Police.
